About us:

PearTree Press publishes, manufactures, distributes, sells, and markets material and merchandise relating to the Borden Murders of 1892 — including, but not limited to, magazines, books (fiction and nonfiction), reprints, essays, and original works. In addition, as a press, we engage in digital publishing contracts with authors for works related to other subject matter.

What's New:

Our latest endeavor is the publication of The Hatchet: Journal of Lizzie Borden Studies.

Published 6 times a year, The Hatchet includes oringial nonficton, fiction, art, humor, interviews, and first person narratives—each related in some fashion to the Borden Murders of 1892, Fall River, Mass., or Victorian America.

We accept original manuscripts and works from new and published authors. We offer financial renumeration for all accepted works.
